Our research business partner has developed a novel oil absorbent resin to address the challenge of trace oil content (10 to 1000ppm) in wastewater recycling processes, which can be detrimental to equipment like UF, RO, and IER. This resin reduces oil content to less than 1ppm in the discharge water, making it suitable for recycling and reuse. This technology works by utilizing a high temperature resistant resin with hydrophobic properties to separate emulsified and dissolved oil molecules from water.

A resin bed in the deoiling equipment captures and enriches the oil molecules on its surface, allowing for timely removal. When the resin reaches saturation, the enriched oil is automatically separated into large drops, which then undergo self-separation in an oil-water separator. The resin then restarts the process of demulsification, capture, and enrichment.

We are advocating this technology to assist customers or agents that facing challenges in removing trace oil content from recycling plant processes.  Message us for more technical information about oil removal resin
