Bomba Training for Staff: Enhancing Workplace Safety
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Fire Drill Training were successfully organized at our HQ office on last Saturday and this afternoon. These sessions aimed to equip staff with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively during fire emergencies, ensuring the safety of everyone within the premises.
The ERT training, titled "Pengurusan Keselamatan Kebakaran", emphasized on the 3E concept:
Engineering: Implementing robust safety features in building designs.
Enforcement: Adhering to fire safety regulations and standards.
Education: Raising awareness and building competency among staff to handle emergencies.
The training sessions adhered to the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL) and the Fire Services Act 1988 (Act 341), reinforcing the importance of compliance with national safety guidelines. Participants also learned that building plans and mechanical & electrical (M&E) plans are essential for ensuring safety standards in any structure, as they play a pivotal role in preventing and managing fire hazards.
Through this training, we gained valuable insights into fire prevention, emergency response procedures, and the importance of teamwork during critical situations. The hands-on fire drill provided an opportunity to apply the knowledge practically, building confidence in managing real-life emergencies. This initiative highlights our organization's commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment for everyone. Let’s continue to prioritize safety and remain vigilant at all times!
